magic is all around

when I need you
why can't I see you anymore

Is Camelot gone forever
or will we see you again
Can the Sword once again
be released from the stone

Can we ever find Peter Pan
why must we grow up
and face the world
and all its problems

I wish I were a child
once again
running down the hall
to see what Santa
has left in my pillowslip

I think I died when
I learnt that santa was
only a part of my imagination
give me back my imagination
and let me live

Where did the dreams
of children go
when we stopped dreaming
why did we stop

Merlin show me how
to grasp those dreams again
make me a child again
with all the wonder
still before me

Where did you go Merlin
why can't I reach you anymore
what blocks my path
to you again
are you real

Am I real
or just a part
of my own imagination
if I stop imagining
will I cease to exist
